Jennifer Aniston Buys $21 Million Bel Air Mansion

Wednesday, January 25th, 2012

Jennifer Aniston has bought a 8,500 square feet Bel Air mansion for $21 million, TMZ is reporting. The A. Quincy Jones-designed gated midcentury modern house, which was first listed in April 2011 and valued at $29 million, sits upon a three-acre knoll. It has a 300-degree view from downtown to the ocean, high ceilings, walls of glass, a vineyard and gardens. The news of Aniston buying the house comes after she spent almost $7 million for two apartments in the Bing and Bing building in New York’s West Village in 2011. She spent $2.069 for a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment, which is directly below the $4.95 million one-bedroom penthouse she bought….

Some people will say 2011 isn’t a great year for movies. I would tend to disagree with that sentiment. It’s true the number of great films (so far) in 2011 are fewer than 2010 but the ones we do have in 2011 are pretty spectacular and worth watching and discussing. There are movies like Gore Verbinski’s “Rango” or Joe Wright’s “Hanna” are among the favorites of general audiences, just looking at the critical response and box office receipts, but there are also smaller movies that seem to have been forgotten like Cary Fukunaga’s adaptation of “Jane Eyre” and Tom McCarthy’s comic gem, “Win Win”. All of these titles are worthy…

In order for these subjects to actually be funny, they must be placed within a funny circumstance. Not only does Your Highness fail by attempting to tap into our juvenile sides trying to earn a laugh by throwing out one of these subjects at random, but even when it does contextualize their inclusion, it’s not particularly funny either. Thadeous (Danny McBride) suffers from an extreme case of one-sided sibling rivalry. His older…

Justin Theroux Talks Iron Man 2

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

Justin Theroux recently sat down to talk with UGO, and dished on, besides the DVD release of “Tropic Thunder”, the progress happening with the “Iron Man” sequel. Theroux says “We’ve kind of got a first draft around. You know what I mean? I just got back from London where I was working with Robert Downey Jr. and Kevin Feige. He was out there. We were talking with Robert, who’s out there doing ‘Sherlock Holmes’, he was giving his input and his notes. We’re sort of there. It’s just sort of chugging along. The crews, I think, are now starting to see what they need to make, and the places that…
