I’m loving the casting news coming out about the “Star Trek” sequel. First Noel Clarke, next Benedict Cumberbatch (who is, according to benedictcumberbatch.co.uk, playing a villain that is probably not going to be a villain previously associated with the franchise–could the rumors be right in that he’s playing Q after all?), and now Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Nazneen Contractor from “24″ has been added to the casting roster. Well the promise of a sequel has finally come true. It was only just a matter of time. Now, Deadline is reporting that the new “Star Trek” film will have a release date of May 17th 2013.
