Karen Olivo Joins the Cast of Harry's Law

Karen Olivo has been cast as a new lawyer in a series regular role in the upcoming second season of NBC’s ‘Harry’s Law,’ Entertainment Weekly is reporting. The next season of the legal drama, which was created by David E. Kelley, will follow Kathy Bates’ title character, defense attorney Harry Korn, as she starts landing larger cases as her reputation grows. Olivo’s character will help Harry with her caseload. Olivo is known for originating the role of Vanessa in the 2008 Broadway production of ‘In the heights.’ She also won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical in 2009 for her portrayal of Anita in the revival…

James Spader is currently in talks with NBC to replace Steve Carrell on ‘The Office,’ Entertainment Weekly is reporting. While the Emmy-winning actor’s character Robert California was originally in negotiations to become the new manager of the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin, the mockumentary’s producers are now considering having Robert replace Kathy Bates’ character Jo Bennett as the CEO of the paper company. Bates will reportedly leave her ‘Office’ role to solely focus on Season 2 of her other NBC show, the legal dramedy ‘Harry’s Law.’ However, Spader’s deal isn’t final yet, and no scripts have been written yet for ‘The Office.’ If he does join the show, he will…
