Just in time to give Twilight fans an additional fix, the new ‘A Warrior’s Heart’ movie trailer with actors Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1) has been released. As pointed out by EW, the first look is entirely filled with a slew of scenes featuring Lutz in his role as Conor Sullivan, a lacrosse player who loses his handle on life after the death of his father. The trailer features the voice of Ashley Greene narrating her love for Kellan Lutz’s character, who, after the loss of his marine father, suffers a melt down. The first look shows plenty of fighting scenes, spending…

Title: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 Director: Bill Condon Starring: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Sarah Clarke, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Booboo Stewart, Chaske Spencer, Julia Jones About 4 of the 117 minutes that make up “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ will capture your attention. Those 4 minutes are nearly ruined, too, when some opens their mouth; which ends up being a frequent, and indirectly funny, occurrence. The story is quite simple in this installment: Vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and human Bella (Kristen Stewart) are finally getting hitched. Everyone is happy about this….

Title: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 Directed By: Bill Condon Starring: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Sarah Clarke, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Booboo Stewart, Chaske Spencer, Julia Jones After three immensely successful productions, why would Summit Entertainment change their formula now? Of course the studio wouldn’t, but you’d think bringing aboard an Oscar-winning director would almost naturally warrant some changes for the better, but sadly, Bill Condon’s prowess was entirely consumed by the drone of The Twilight Saga and he actually winds up delivering a piece that’s rather sub par to two of the previous installments….

Title: Immortals Directed By: Tarsem Singh Starring: Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke, Stephen Dorff, Freida Pinto, Luke Evans, John Hurt, Joseph Morgan, Greg Bryk, Kellan Lutz, Isabel Lucas, Daniel Sharman There are so many pieces to the filmmaking puzzle; it’s really no wonder so many movies can’t pull it all together. With the visual king, Tarsem Singh, behind the lens, Immortals was basically guaranteed to be imagery eye candy and, sure enough, Singh delivers big time. If only he’d learn to put the same amount of time and energy into honing his script, Immortals could have given 300 a run for its money. Way back when, there was a brutal war…

In “Beautiful Boy,” Bill and Kate (Michael Sheen and Maria Bello) are a married couple already on the verge of separation when their college-age son, Sam (Kyle Gallner), goes on a shooting rampage at his school and then takes his own life. In the pained weeks that follow, as they avoid an inquisitive media by first staying with family and then holing up in a dingy hotel room, the pair finds that the tragedy both brings them together a bit while also exposing a variety of old wounds and grudges. The rawness and unprecious nature of the lead performances help neophyte director Shawn Ku’s film achieve a certain hold, enough so…

The movie trailer for Arena’, starring Twilight’s Kellan Lutz and Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev has been rolled out the web, and so far the first look isn’t receiving positive reception. Many are calling the Jonah Loop directed fight movie and unoriginal rip off of the much loved 2000 movie Gladiator that featured Russell Crowe. The straight to DVD movie, set for release October 11th, doesn’t look promising. “David Lord finds himself forced into the savage world of a modern gladiatorial arena, where men fight to the death for the entertainment of the online masses.” Synopsis: ‘Arena’ its newest title, after being coined both ‘Deathgames’ and ‘The Killing Game, chronicles…

I can’t believe it, but this is officially it; my coverage of San Diego Comic Con 2011 has come to a close. For five incredibly long days, the experience went by in a flash. The action was non-stop from the moment I touched down in San Diego and while it was extremely exhausting and probably one of the most trying working experiences I’ve ever gone through, it was beyond worth it. So, what’d you think? Did you like my coverage choices? Were the formats I chose to report in effective? Do let me know because I’m thrilled to say, it looks as though I’ll be returning to Comic Con next…

He brought us The Cell and The Fall and now director Tarsem Singh is back, but in, well, a more commercial way. His latest film, Immortals, is a big-budget, effect heavy, action adventure featuring Theseus (Henry Cavill), a man hell bent on taking down the individual responsible for killing his mother, Hyperion (Mickey Rourke). Hyperion’s on a mission to find the invincible Bow of Epirus and will do whatever it takes and kill anyone necessary in order to get his hands on it. And that’s where the gods come in, as they’re left with no choice, but to intervene for the sake of humanity. The Immortals showing at San Diego…

I can’t believe it, but I’ve reached the finish line. Saturday at San Diego Comic Con 2011 has come to a close. While I’m certainly looking forward to a long day’s rest and not having to lug my hefty laptop around everywhere I go, my coverage schedule wrapping up is a bit sad. At least it all ended on a high note. Today was another non-stop adventure beginning with Summit Entertainment’s The Darkest Hour presentation. Unlike the big panels in Hall H, this was far more intimate, Summit inviting a group of reporters to a suite in the Hard Rock Hotel to check out some concept art, stills and the…
