Resident Evil 4 To Start Shooting In September

“Resident Evil: Afterlife,” the fourth installment of the adapted video game franchise “Resident Evil”, is gearing up to start shooting in Toronto September 28th 2009, according to Production Weekly and Comingsoon.net. A release date has also been set of September 17th, 2010, with Alice, portrayed by Milla Jovovich, back. Paul W.S. Anderson has penned the script, with no director announced yet. Milla Jovovich will reprise her lead role as Alice in this fourth installment of the “Resident Evil” series, which takes off where “Resident Evil: Afterlife” ended in Japan. Resident Evil: Degeneration Gets December Release

Video game heavyweight Capcom and Sony Pictures teamed up to create Resident Evil: Degeneration, the first full-length animated feature based on the popular game series Resident Evil. Unlike the live-action films starring Milla Jovovich, Degeneration takes place within the same universe as the video games, trailing the game’s two main characters Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. In the English version of the film, Paul Mercier voiced the part of Leon and Alyson Court voiced the part of Claire.
