According to the latest news reports, actor Corey Haim died of pneumonia complications and not an accidental drug overdose as earlier reported, watch the Associated Press report below. Haim, 38 was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday March 10th at the St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank, California. According to news sources, Haim was found unresponsive inside his Oakwood apartment between the Hollywood Hills and Burbank. Not even three months after fellow former teen star Brittany Murphy died from the pneumonia and an over-the-counter drug overdose, Corey Haim, who rose to fame during the 1980s in such movies as ‘The Lost Boys’ and ‘Lucas,’ died on March 10. The NY Daily News is reporting he most likely died from an apparent accidental drug overdose. The 38-year-old star was running about a 100 degree fever the day before, and had a doctor make a house call to his mother’s Burbank apartment.
