While Lionsgate has been trying to keep all the details of its highly anticipated upcoming film adaptation of ‘Conan: The Barbarian’ a secret, spoilers about the plot have been revealed, reelzchannel.com is reporting. Sean Hood has been hired to rewrite the script for “Conan”, which is slated to start filming on March 15th, 2010. Marcus Nispel is directing the the action-adventure from Lionsgate, the latest adaptation of Robert E. Howard’s classic pulp barbarian. Marcus Nispel has been tapped by Nu Image/Millennium Films to direct “Conan.” Production on the remake of the 1982 film, based on Robert E. Howard’s classic pulp tales of the wandering barbarian, is set to start late this year in Bulgaria and South Africa. The film is a co-production between Nu Image/Millennium and Lionsgate.
