Mark Millar Addresses Superman Rumors

Renowned comic writer Mark Millar (“Kick-Ass”, “The Ultimates”) recently spoke out regarding rumors surrounding his attachment to any future Superman movie. Millar said on his site: “Nobody has ever seen my Superman idea besides Matthew. We never pitched [...] all this stuff about people hating my Superman ideas, etc, is just bullsh*t. Nobody’s seen it.” Millar’s creator-owned project “Kick-Ass” from Icon, which he created alongside artist John Romita, Jr, has been adapted into a live-action feature film starring Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Chloe Moretz. Comic book author Mark Millar (“Wanted”, “Kick-Ass”) and filmmaker Matthew Vaughn (“Layer Cake”, “Kick-Ass”) have decided to team up again and are bringing Millar’s title “American Jesus” to the big screen. “American Jesus” from Dark Horse Comics centers on the return of Christ in the modern world, leading to a final showdown with the Anti-Christ for the sake of planet Earth and all of humanity.
