Metallica just released the second single off their upcoming album, Death Magnetic today. Entitled “My Apocalypse,” the track is now available for download on iTunes. Metallica fans should check out check out iTunes where you can also purchase the riveting track “The Day That Never Comes” which premiered last week.   Additionally, the band have recently unveiled a new widget that the band will frequently updated with news, a trailer for their MissionMetallica.com fan site, and other Death Magnetic related material. Metallica and Black Tide at The Kerrang Awards

The Kerrang! Awards were held recently in the UK and among those honored were Florida rockers, Black Tide. The band took home the award for Best International Newcomer, beating out All Time Low and Kill Hannah amongst other bands. Black Tide joined the likes of Rage Against The Machine, Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold all who took home a coveted K statue. Also on hand were Black Tide influencers, Metallica who were honored, fittingly, with the Kerrang! inspiration award.
