The Hollywood Reporter has recently published an interview with blockbuster directors Michael Bay and James Cameron on how to build a better blockbuster. According to the article, Bay decided to make the third “Transformers” film, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”, a 3D film because of Cameron’s success with “Avatar”. According to Bay, who was initially on the fence about making the film 3D, Cameron convinced him by saying, “You gotta look at it as a toy. Hot on the heels of the announcement that Transformers: Dark of the Moon will now open on Wednesday, June 29th instead of July 1st, comes a brand new 3D trailer. Now after having seeing these new images of the third installment of the popular toy line series, “Transformers”, I have to say this movie looks pretty cool! Paramount is in negotiations to distribute the upcoming family film ‘The Hauntrepreneur,’ according to The Hollywood Reporter. The horror thriller will be produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller’s production company Platinum Dunes. The three want to break into the action and thriller genres via their first-look deal with Paramount. ‘The Hauntrepreneur,’ which was written by Scott Rosenberg, follows a family that has trouble adjusting to a new town.
