The first teaser trailer for director Tarsem Singh’s highly-anticipated fantasy-action drama movie ‘Immortals’ has been released by Relativity Media. The film follows the Titan Hyperion, played by Mickey Rourke, as he searches ancient Greece for a legendary weapon, the Epirus Bow, which was created by the god Ares. The weapon will allow him to free the other Titans from Tartarus, and take revenge on the Olympians who caused his people’s downfall. However, ancient laws say gods can’t choose sides between Hyperion and humanity in wars. Therefore, peasant Theseus, played by Henry Cavill, is chosen by Zeus, portrayed by Luke Evans, to fight. Just days after Relativity Media released its knight action movie ‘Season of the Witch’ starring Nicolas Cage, the studio confirmed via a press release that it will be distributing a 3D Greek Gods epic movie titled ‘Immortals.’ The movie, which is set to hit theaters on November 11, 2011, will be helmed by ‘The Cell’ director Tarsem Singh, and was written by Charles Parlapanides and Vlas Parlapanides.
