The actress publicly called out the distribution company on October 21, the day the movie hit theaters in America, via Twitter. She said “Are ‘Summit’ promoting it as a family adventure movie? Director Paul W.S. Anderson strived to take on the task when he began production on the new movie ‘The Three Musketeers,’ based on the 1844 novel of the same name by Alexandre Dumas. While the filmmaker, who also produced the film, succeeded in seamlessly bringing the Musketeers’ fights to the big screen, the…

Interview: Dirty Girl's Jeremy Dozier

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

Juno Temple, Milla Jovovich, Mary Steenburgen, Dwight Yoakam, William H. Macy, Tim McGraw – and Jeremy Dozier? Unlike his Dirty Girl co-cast, odds are, you’ve got no clue who Dozier is. Well, there’s a good reason his name is amongst this list of top notch talent and, soon enough, he could be up there himself. Dozier is Dirty Girl‘s Clarke, an introverted high school outcast who’s also picked on at home, as his father has no tolerance for Clarke’s sexual preferences. When Clarke’s paired up with school slut Danielle (Juno Temple) for a class project, he’s forced to play daddy to a bag of flour that they’re assigned to treat…

Stone Movie Review

Friday, October 29th, 2010

Title: Stone Directed by: John Curran Starring: Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, Milla Jovovich and Frances Conroy. Often, those people who society judge the most are the ones who are locked behind prison bars. However, in the new Overture drama ‘Stone,’ starring Robert DeNiro, Edward Norton and Milla Jovovich, the misconception that prisoners deserve to be judged the harshest is quickly revealed and proven to be wrong. The movie also shows that those people who are the first to point out other people’s faults are often the ones who have something to hide. ‘Stone’s very simplistic plot follows convicted felon Gerald “Stone” Creeson (played by Norton), who is up for…
