Pamela Anderson Appalled During Aussie Interview

Actress Pamela Anderson, who has been a vegetarian and PETA supporter for decades, was appalled when a gusty reporter pulled a chicken drumstick out of his shorts and began eating it during a press conference in Australia recently. The ex-Playboy Playmate was holding interviews with several journalists in Sydney earlier this week to promote her E! Channel reality show, ” Pam: Girl on the Loose .” Before the drumstick incident occurred, the reporter pulled down his pants, revealing bright red underwear, and asked the actress/model for her autograph. Doctor Who Movie?

Steven Moffat, who has replaced Russell T. Davies as writer for “Doctor Who”, said he would like to see the television series made into a feature film. “It would be good to see it in the cinema so long as it is great and fantastic,” he said, speaking at a master class on the show at the festival here. But he cautioned that the the movie would need careful handling. “I’m not against it … so long as it never gets in the way of the TV show. Tracy Coogan (Zombie Honeymoon) who was part of British writer/director Jake Kennedy’s latest indie movie ” The Devil’s Dungeon ” which was currently shot in Los Angeles. The Avengers Coming July 2011 From Marvel

Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man and Captain America will be assembled in the latest big screen adaptation “The Avengers” to make quite possibly the highest impact Marvel Studios movie yet. Who will direct this big screen adaptation? Even though a Director has not been officially selected, director Jon Favreau (Iron Man) tells MTV that the film is “a great idea” and that he would consider directing the film. Finding the appropriate cast and crew may not be the main concern. Clint Eastwoods Changeling in theaters October 24th

Variety reports that Clint Eastwood’s latest film “Changeling,” starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich will hit the theaters in a limited release on October 24th, 2008. “Changeling” recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. The film is set in 1920′s Los Angeles and follows Christine Collins (Jolie), a mother who’s kidnapped son returns home unharmed, but soon after she suspects that the boy is not her own. Leonardo Di Caprio to star in Atari

Variety.com reports today that Paramount Pictures has signed Leonardo Di Caprio to star in the upcoming film “Atari”. The film is a biopic about entrepreneur Nolan Bushnell, the creator of the Atari game system and the video game industry. Brushnell and partner Ted Dabney were the founders of Atari Inc. in 1972. Hasbro officially Names Tranformers 2 Sequel

According to several entertainment news sources, Hasbro has officially named the upcoming Transformers 2 sequel coming soon by Directed by Michael Bay. Bruce Willis to star in game adaptation Kane and Lynch

According to Variety, Bruce Willis may be the new star of Eidos Entertainment’s video game adaptation “Kane and Lynch: Dead Men”. by Patricia Martinez Once again Alexandre Aja brings yet another suspense/horror/thriller movie called Mirrors. Aja produced and did the screenplays for P2, The Hills Have Eyes remake and is also working on another soon to be released movie called Piranha 3-D due 2009. Mirrors stars Kieffer Sutherland, Amy Smart, Paula Patton, Jason Flemyng. Keifer plays an ex-cop turned security guard. Keifer soon finds that the store’s mirrors have a horrific secret that threatens him and all he loves. Mirrors is set to debut August 2008.

New Horizons let us know that filming has begun on Roger Corman’s lated production “Cyclops”, a big budget Sci-Fi Channel original film. According to his official Myspace site, the $10 million dollar feature tells the story of a Cyclops, discovered in ancient Rome, who is captured by arrogant soldier Marcus (Stapleton) and brought back to the Emperor Tiberius (Roberts). Soon, however, the corrupt Emperor forces Marcus to fight in the gladiatorial arena against the Cyclops with the help of a beautiful barbarian (Farrell). Associated Press reported today that Roger Avary the Oscar-winning screenwriter of Quentin Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction” and most recently “Beowulf” has been arrested today on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence in Ventura County. According to Captain Ross Bonfiglio a Ventura County sheriff, Roger Avary was involved in a single-car collision killing 34 year old Andreas Zini, and injuring his wife Gretchen who was ejected from the car upon impact. She is in stable condition. Roger Avary, a 42-year-old screenwriter and Ojai resident was released from jail on $50,000 bail.

According to Hollywood.com, Jessica Alba (Awake) is pregnant and expecting a child in Spring of 2008 with her boyfriend Cash Warren whom she met on the set of The Fantastic Four by director Tim Story in 2005, Cash was the director’s assistant.
