Renowned New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison (“Once Were Warriors”, Jango Fett from the “Star Wars” prequel films) and New Zealand filmmaker/actor Taika Waititi have both joined the cast of Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Green Lantern.” Morrison has been cast as Abin Sur, the alien Green Lantern Corps member responsible for Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) joining the intergalactic courage-fueled police force.
