Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine won’t be attending the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA’s) in Los Angeles tonight, as he disapproves of the network’s new format, The Huffington Post is reporting. The judge of the hit NBC reality singing competition ‘The Voice’ took to his Twitter account yesterday and tweeted “f*ck you VMA’s.” Levine further showed his dissatisfaction with MTV, which he thinks strayed from its original mission, by tweeting “the VMA’s. One day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. American audiences won’t be seeing more ‘Skins,’ as the controversial new teen drama series has been canceled after only one season, TVLine is reporting. The show, which was based on the hit, critically praised British series of the same name, stirred up debate when the Parents Television Council (PTC) called it “the most dangerous television show for children that we have ever seen.” The PTC asked the federal government to investigate ‘Skins’ for possible child pornography and exploitation. Britney Spears’ parents, Lynne and James, are claiming their daughter is “mentally incapable” of testifying in the defamation case they brought against her ex-manager Sam Lutfi, the Huffington Post is reporting. Lynne and James are also claiming that Lutfi used to drug and harass her after her break-down. But Lufti is questioning the validity of the Spears’ claim. He had an expert analyze the singer during her recent interview with Ryan Seacrest and her latest MTV documentary. The expert said Spears looked more than capable of testifying in court.
