A man who was caught on NBC’s “To Catch A Predator,” a show in which alleged pedophiles are trapped by NBC’s Chris Hansen and a watchdog group, is now suing the network for violating his rights to privacy and causing intentional emotional distress. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a federal judge in California is allowing plaintiff Anurag Tiwari to pursue his suit against the network. Tiwari, formerly employed with Sun Microsystems as an engineer, was caught on the show in 2006. He was eventually charged with a misdemeanor which was later reduced to a criminal infraction as part of a plea deal. Afterwards, Tiwari sued the network, stating his civil…

Eddie Cibrian was injured during the evening of October 4 while filming on the Chicago set of NBC’s ‘The Playboy Club,’ the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting. The 38-year-old actor suffered a deep gash on his right heel after it was caught under a 200 pound steel door. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment. Cibrian was filming scenes as his character, male lead Nick Dalton, a lawyer and Playboy Club keyholder, at the 2558 West 16th West Side studio. After NBC announced its new drama ‘The Playboy Club’ was the first cancellation of the Fall 2011 season, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has voiced his opinion on why he thinks the series failed, AOL TV is reporting. The first casualty of the 2011 Fall television season has been announced! Members of the Parents Television Council should be happy. “The Playboy Club” has been cancelled, NBC announced today. The show will be replaced by Brian Williams’ newsmagazine show, “Rock Center” beginning October 31. Until “Rock Central” airs, however, “Prime Suspect” repeats will air in “The Playboy Club”‘s timeslot.
