Tim Burton Honored at the Museum of Modern Art

According to the Associated press director Tim Burton was honored by New York’s Museum of Modern Art with a special art exhibition of a good portion of his work, check out the video below. He was joined at the event by Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, who have starred in many of his previous projects.
Tim Burton’s new film “Alice in Wonderland” stars Mia Wasikowska (Amelia, Defiance), Johnny Depp (Sin City 3, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus), Anne Hathaway (Bride Wars), Helena Bonham Carter (Terminator Salvation), Alan Rickman and Crispin Glover.

From the official facebook site, here’s a brand new gameplay still from the upcoming video game “Ghost Busters: The Game” coming soon to the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3.
Game Description: The real Ghostbusters return in this videogame sequel to the Ghostbusters movies. Stars Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Bill Murray reunite to reprise their roles as Spengler, Stantz, Zeddmore and Venkman. Supporting the ghost busting crew are the talents of Annie Potts, Brian Doyle Murray and William Atherton.

Kristen Johnston does Lady Godiva for PETA

Actress Kristen Johnston is stripping down for a new PETA anti-cruelty ad.
Johnston is to appear nude on horseback, replicating the infamous Lady Godiva personality, as part of PETA’s campaign to stop New York City’s use of horse-drawn carriages.
The ad is aimed at tourists heading for Central Park for the holidays who are tempted to take a carriage ride.
Johnston says, “I was blown away by how these horses live, or actually I should say, don’t live. The horses go from this horrible job, where they’re pulling people through the streets of Manhattan all day, to this tiny jail cell in this building that’s like a cramped parking garage. [...]

The crowd, which consisted of teens and 20-somethings (and a scarce scattering of parents), packed the room from wall to wall, holding their drinks in one hand and waving their other hand in the air.
