The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Owen Wilson has signed on to voice the rascally Great Dane “Marmaduke” for Fox’s adaptation of the long-running newspaper comic strip. The film will follow a family named the Winslows who move from Kansas to Orange County, and their giant slobbering dog Marmaduke, who causes chaos wherever he goes. The strip was created in 1954 by Brad Anderson about a giant Great Dane dog and his misadventures causing trouble throughout the neighborhood. Judy Greer, Lee Pace and William H. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Laura Dern has joined the cast of “Little Fockers”, the latest film in the popular Ben Stiller-fronted “Meet The Parents” franchise for Universal Pictures. Dern will be playing the headmistress of the elementary school that the Fockers’ children attend. Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, and Jessica Alba all star in the Paul Weitz-directed movie.
