According to Ozzfest.com, Ozzfest will return this year for a one-day only festival in Dallas, Texas Saturday, August 9. Ozzy Osbourne will be accompanied by Metallica, Serj Tankian, Jonathan Davis, Hellyeah’s Vinnie Paul (Pantera) and Chad Gray. Others include Sevendust, Drowning Pool, Shadows Fall, Devildriver, and many more. “Ozzy just finished an 11-month world tour so I think he deserves a summer off,” says Sharon Osbourne. Well, Well, Well… It looks like 2007 is gonna be a great year to be a metal head. David Lee Roth is back in Van Halen, and will be going on tour this summer. They are finally being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 12, 2007. I am still waiting for the hall to induct Kiss, one can only hope. Also, “Mob Rules” era Black Sabbath (Ronnie James Dio-Vocals, Vinnie Appice-Drums, Tony Iommi-Guitar, Geezer Butler-Bass) will be on tour calling themselves “Heaven and Hell”…This aught to be good!
