Brad Pitt Bringing Dark Void To Life

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reliance BIG Entertainment and Brad Pitt’s Plan B are developing a film version of the upcoming Capcom video game “Dark Void”, with Pitt in negotiations to star as the lead. Capcom third-person shooter and will develop as a feature. The companies say that the project would be a “potential starring vehicle” for Pitt. No writers have been hired as yet. “Void,” a third-person shooter, follows a cargo pilot named Will who ends up crashing in the Bermuda Triangle and must team up with other stranded humans to battle an alien horde with various unique weapons that they find at their disposal. Battling Boy Getting The Big-Screen Treatment

Alex Tse (“Watchmen”) will be writing the adaptation of the comic book title “Battling Boy” for Paramount and Plan B, Brad Pitt’s production company. The film will be based on the upcoming graphic novel written and illustrated by Paul Pope (“Batman: Year 100″, “Dark Horse Presents” series), and follows the son of a god who comes down from the top of a mountain at his father’s behest, to battle a plague of beasts that have overrun the giant floating city of Monstropolis.
