Two And A Half Men Poster Released Featuring Ashton Kutcher

Two And A Half Men Poster Released Featuring Ashton Kutcher

Thursday, July 21st, 2011

In a clever move (whether done on purpose or not) a new promo pic for ‘Two and a Half Men’ has been released. Ready to kick off their ninth season, without Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones show up in only their birthday suits with a sign covering all the right places.  Also making an appearance, in the buff alongside the series regulars, is Men’s newest member, and Sheen’s replacement, Ashton Kutcher. The new poster, that reads “All will be revealed”, comes just in time with the news now swarming the web that Sheen has teamed up with Lionsgate to remake the ‘Anger Management’ movie into a TV…

The Hunger Games official poster

The Hunger Games official teaser one-sheet and motion posters released; collectible posters available at selected theater chains

Thursday, July 21st, 2011

There’s a lot of poster news with Lionsgate’s “The Hunger Games.” First, the official teaser poster for the film has been released as well as the motion poster, which is embedded below. The teaser poster made its debut at the official “The Hunger Games” Facebook page and at Comic Con. I’ve only seen one motion poster–the motion poster for “Conan the Barbarian in 3D”–but this motion poster for “The Hunger Games” is awesome in its simplicity. Just like our ancient forefathers were transfixed by the movement of fire, so will you when you watch the motion poster reveal Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) pin. Also, movie-goers will be able to get a…

Samuel Goldwyn Pictures has officially released the poster for their upcoming film, “The Whistleblower.” The film stars Oscar winner Rachel Weisz in a story inspired by real events: Inspired by actual events, the film tells the story of Kathy Bolkovac (Weisz), an American police officer who takes a job working as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia. The film also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Monica Bellucci, Vanessa Redgrave, David Strathairn, Liam Cunningham, David Hewlett and William Hope. The film will…

Sons Of Anarchy Season 4 Trailer, Poster And Plot Updates!

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

With FX’s Sons of Anarchy season 4 just around the bend (but not soon enough!) some serious info about the crew has been released!  We’re talking a new trailer to prime you up, a poster and some great plot updates from creator Kurt Sutter.  When the boys return it will be one year ahead, and their prison stints will be a thing of the past, but I’m sure still fresh in their minds! Sutter also gave fans a decent amount of details on how the fourth year will work: “So far the new season feels very potent.  We’re back in Charming, we’re out of jail and we’re making money.  With…

The Adventures of Tintin Teaser Trailer Wins Big Thanks To Performance Capture Tech

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn has been a long time coming for Steven Spielberg. The director first snatched up the rights when the original comic book artist, Georges “Hergé” Remi, passed away back in 1983. Spielberg had to re-option the rights in 2002, hoped to film in late 2008 for a 2010 release, but clearly that didn’t go as planned. It took a little longer than expected, but things finally came together making Tintin Spielberg’s very first digitally shot production courtesy of performance capture technology. The film’s roster includes Jamie Bell as Tintin, Andy Serkis as Captain Haddock, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as Thomson and Thompson…

X-Men First Class Poster

Yet another bad X-Men: First Class poster

Tuesday, April 19th, 2011

Empire and CinemaBlend are not impressed by the latest “X-Men: First Class” poster. The poster shows the cast as their characters, but everyone’s been photoshopped to be walking at an angle. That’s not the only problem with the poster, though; many people’s heads look like they are way too big for their bodies, the walking poses look really odd and doll-like, and the shadows (which fade away) are hilarious–why do they have to fade away? Shadows don’t just fade in real life. There’s a lot of stuff going on in this poster that’s not very good and doesn’t sell the movie well at all. “X-Men: First Class”, set in 1963…

New Stake Land Poster's Got Bite

Tuesday, April 12th, 2011

How about a vampire movie that does involve brooding boys or glittery faces? Well, you’re in luck because Stake Land is due out on April 22nd and it’s about as far from Forks and the Cullens as you can get. Stake Land is a gritty portrayal of life post-vampire apocalypse. After losing his parents, Martin (Connor Paolo) teams up with Mister (Nick Damici), a proud vampire killer with no time for emotional baggage. The duo trek around the bloodsucker-ridden country in search of a safe haven, an area known as New Eden. However, even armed with spears and no-fear attitudes, there’s no escaping the tumultuous trip unscathed. With the film’s…

Scream

Freddy Krueger And Ghostface Get The Mondo Poster Treatment

Tuesday, April 12th, 2011

I’m a big fan of the Scream 4 one sheet – the Ghostface/knife image – but these posters are just in another league. As part of Mondo‘s “Director’s Series” we bring you two Alex Pardee designs, both fantastic creative twists on two slasher icons, Wes Craven’s Freddy Krueger and Ghostface. Craven is director number four to see his work reimaged through the series, the first three being Guillermo del Toro, Duncan Jones and Zack Snyder. Mondo, the collectible art boutique arm of Alama Drafthouse Cinema, has Pardee lined up to design images for Swamp Thing, The Hills Have Eyes and The Last House on the Left as well. Clearly these…
