Disney Setting Up Monster Attack Network
Tuesday, March 17th, 2009According to a Variety report, Walt Disney Studios has attached director Andy Fickman, who recently directed the Duane Johnson-helmed action flick “Race To Witch Mountain”, to direct the big-screen adaptation of the graphic novel “Monster Attack Network”. The original graphic novel, released in 2007, focuses on a team of first-response agents led by the dashing Nate Klinger, who guard the citizens of Lapuatu, a Pacific island that would be a tropical paradise, save for frequent attacks by giant monsters that rise from the ocean as well as the newly-arrived industrialists and expatriates that are more than they seem. “Monster Attack Network” was created by writers Marc Bernardin and Adam Freeman…
