Production for Walt Disney Pictures’ ‘The Lone Ranger’ is officially moving forward. Heat Vision confirmed on February 12 that ‘Revolutionary Road’ writer Justin Haythe is set to work on the script, replacing ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ writers Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Haythe is able to work on the script because his last writing job with the studio, ’20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo,’ fell apart during the recent executive turnover.
