I don’t know if anyone is raring and waiting on the movie version of “Monopoly,” but according to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie, which is being produced by Hasbro and Ridley Scott, has now landed some writers. Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski have been put on the project. The writing team has worked on such movies as “People vs Larry Flynt,” “Ed Wood and, most recently, “1408.” As everyone knows, “Monopoly” is a Hasbro/Parker Brothers game that has the players competing for economic supremacy of utilities and real estate based on real places in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
