Comics2Film is reporting that Kickstart Entertainment has optioned “Proof” from Image Comics, as an animated television series. The site is also reporting that Samuel L. Jackson is attached to the project. The comic book was created by Alex Grecian and Riley Rossmo and focuses on operatives of the mysterious organization known as The Lodge, led in the field by John “Proof” Prufrock, a sasquatch. Proof and the other members of The Lodge investigate cases of fabled creatures called “cryptids” such as the Chupacabra, lake monsters, and thunderbirds.
