Legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor died on March 23 from congestive heart failure, USAtoday.com is reporting. Taylor, who had been hospitalized at L.A.’s Cedars Sinai Hospital for the past two months, was 79. She went public with her heart failure diagnosis in November 2004. Taylor tweeted in October 2009 that she was having a new procedure done to repair her heart. The procedure involved using a clip device to repair her valve, so that she could avoid open heart surgery. A 52-year-old male security guard working on the CBS show ‘NCIS’ died on February 9 after a man driving a production passenger van lost control of the vehicle and smashed into the set, TMZ is reporting. LFO Lead Singer Rich Cronin Dead at 35

Rich Cronin, who rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of the boy band LFO, suffered from a stroke on September 8 and died in the hospital, TMZ is reporting. The confirmation came from Cronin’s brother, who also said the stroke was linked to Rich’s battle with acute myelogenous leukemia. Cronin was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005, but had been in remission several times.
