Sony Pictures Home Entertainment was kind enough to send us a review copy of the Blu-ray release of “The Evil Dead” written and directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man trilogy, Drag Me To Hell) and produced by Robert G. Evil Dead Coming Back To Theaters

The principles behind the classic horror film “Evil Dead” have, 28 years later, decided to re-release the film in theaters, 28 years later. According to Paste.com, Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Robert Tapert are planning to re-release the film in theaters next year. The creators and Grindhouse Pictures will offer midnight showings in select Landmark theaters in the U.S., and Mayfair Cinema in Canada. More venues will be announced at the start of 2010.
