New images from Academy Award nominees Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper’s anticipated crime drama ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ have been released. The film, which reunites Gosling with his ‘Blue Valentine’ writer-director, Derek Cianfrance, will be released into select theaters on March 29 by Focus Features. Last year’s “Insidious” had a strong showing at the box office, garnering a worldwide gross of $97 million and due to the popularity of the film, the film’s writer, Leigh Whannell and director James Wan are returning to create a sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. According to Coming Soon, the details on the film are scant, but it could be assumed that Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne will return.
