New images from Academy Award nominees Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper’s anticipated crime drama ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ have been released. The film, which reunites Gosling with his ‘Blue Valentine’ writer-director, Derek Cianfrance, will be released into select theaters on March 29 by Focus Features. The movie also stars Eva Mendes, Ray Liotta, Rose Byrne, Mahershala Ali, Dane DeHaan, Emory Cohen and Ben Mendelsohn. ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ follows Luke, played by Gosling, a motorcycle stunt performer who travels with the carnival from town to town. Insidious Sequel In The Works

Last year’s “Insidious” had a strong showing at the box office, garnering a worldwide gross of $97 million and due to the popularity of the film, the film’s writer, Leigh Whannell and director James Wan are returning to create a sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. According to Coming Soon, the details on the film are scant, but it could be assumed that Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne will return. Halle Berry is the latest star to be confirmed as a presenter at the 84th Annual Academy Awards, telecast producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer have confirmed. The Oscar-winning actress joins the list of already confirmed presenters, including Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez and the cast of ‘Bridesmaids,’ including first time nominees Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, as well as Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper. Damages Set to Premiere Season 4 on DIRECTV

‘Damages,’ the Golden Globe-winning legal thriller, will be returning on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10 pm on DIRECTV’s Audience Network.
