Variety is reporting that Kyle Gallner will be a part of the new Freddy Krueger/”A Nightmare On Elm Street” film as Quentin, one of the lead teens in the film, which stars Jackie Earle Haley (“Watchmen”) as the legendary horror icon Freddy Krueger. Samuel Bayer is directing, and Wesley Strick wrote the script. Platinum Dunes’ Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are producing, and John Rickard is co-producing. Galner is also starring in the upcoming comedy “Cherry,” as well as Fox Atomic’s comedy thriller “Jennifer’s Body” from Diablo Cody.
