Justin Bruening has been cast in a recurring role on fellow ‘All My Children’ alum Sarah Michelle Gellar’s new CW fall show ‘Ringer,’ TVLine is reporting. The former ‘Knight Rider’ star will play Tyler, a young man who becomes romantically interested in Siobhan, one of the twin sisters Gellar plays on the drama. Tyler is one of three men interested in Siobhan, the other two being her husband, played by ‘Fantastic Four’s Ioan Gruffudd, and lover, portrayed by ‘Life Unexpected’s Kristoffer Polaha. ABC Studios will no longer be producing the upcoming Sarah Michelle Gellar series ‘Ringer,’ Deadline is reporting. The news comes after the show’s originally targeted network, CBS, passed on picking up the series, and its sister network the CW picked it up instead. The studio said it can’t produce a series for the economics of the predominately teen-oriented network. But when Mark Pedowitz, the newly-appointed president of the CW, served as the head of ABC Studios, it produced the series ‘Reaper’ for the network.
