It’s been over six years, but “Silent Hill” is coming back to the big screen. The original video game adaptation starred Radha Mitchell as Rose, the adoptive mother of little Sharon (Jodelle Ferland). Sleepwalking sessions and creepy drawings lead Rose to dismiss her husband’s (Sean Bean) protests and take Sharon to the place in her pictures, Silent Hill. “The Vampire Diaries” is due to role into its fourth season on October 11, 2012, so you know what that means – seasons one, two and three SPOILERS lay ahead! Season three went out with a bang with “The Departed.” Every character’s world was entirely shaken up, and Matt (Zach Roerig) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) will undoubtedly be entering season four in trying situations. Wait until you see “End of Watch.” It isn’t a found footage movie per se, but writer-director David Ayer certainly uses a number of unique camera techniques, including footage shot by the characters themselves, to convey this gritty story. It’s official; should there be a zombie apocalypse, I’m going to die – like ten times over. In honor of San Diego Comic Con, a portion of Petco Park was completely transformed into the land of the walking dead. Participants had the opportunity to go three routes – dress up zombie-style and try to infect the humans, be a survivor and try to make it to the safety zone without coming into contact with a walker or just enjoy watching the survivors get tormented as a spectator. Comic-Con loves animated films and has been welcoming the latest and greatest with open arms for years. But yesterday they introduced an upcoming movie that’s certainly got people’s attention. That movie is “ParaNorman.” There’s plenty of people who are big fans of the animation studio Laika after they churned out “Coraline.” They hope to win over the crowd again with their new sweet and supernatural stop-motion animated movie.
