Tron Lead Chosen
Thursday, January 8th, 2009Disney has picked up-and-coming actor Garrett Hedlund to star in the Joseph Kosinksi-directed “Tron,” the sequel to the 1982 Disney cult science fiction classic. Hedlund has appeared in “Troy,” “Friday Night Lights,” “Four Brothers,” “Eragon,” and “Georgia Rule.” Hedlund will play the lead, who finds himself pulled into the world of a computer and retracing the steps of Kevin Flynn from the first film, played by Jeff Bridges, who is reprising the role of Flynn.
