I’m loving the casting news coming out about the “Star Trek” sequel. First Noel Clarke, next Benedict Cumberbatch (who is, according to benedictcumberbatch.co.uk, playing a villain that is probably not going to be a villain previously associated with the franchise–could the rumors be right in that he’s playing Q after all?), and now Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Nazneen Contractor from “24″ has been added to the casting roster. Simon Pegg is the perfect person to play Hugh “Wee Hughie” Campbell, the main character from the indie comic book “The Boys”–the character’s likeness is based on Pegg and the subject matter of the comic book is right up Pegg’s alley (the comic book is set in a world where superheroes exist, but they don’t typically act like model citizens).
