Bleeding Cool has delivered some exciting news for Smallville fans. After going off the air, ending their ten year run on the CW last year, it looks like story writer Brian Q. Miller of the show is looking to resurrect the story of Superboy turned Superman. According to rumors, and let’s hope this comes to fruition, Miller is working on a Smallville season 11 in the form of the prose book that will reportedly pick up where we left off with Clark (Tom Welling), Chloe (Allison Mack), Lois (Erica Durance), Oliver (Justin Hartley), Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), Tess (Cassidy Freeman), and the rest of the gang. The TV landscape has been hit-or-miss lately, and not just in the storytelling department. There have been horrible star exits, delayed show plots, the loss of television institutions, seasons of popular shows that fizzled and exploitation-for-entertainment, creating a truly uneven and disappointing TV season. TVLine chronicles the lackluster parts of this TV season in their countdown of “TV’s 20 Biggest Disappointments of 2011.” Some major disappointments include the axing of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” disgusting and horrific shows such as “Toddlers and Tiaras,” the not-too-great finales of “The Killing,” “Desperate Housewives” and “Smallville” and, of course, the worst thing that happened to television this year–the unleashing…

Smallville show runners Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders have both been added to the ranks of CW’s latest sci-fi series The Secret Circle. It looks like the network just gave fans another reason to watch. Peterson and Souders are the duo who helped breathe new life into the stagnate superboy series back in 2008, making the last couple of years of the long running show what it once was in the ratings. The Smallville alums will join the series with Kevin Williamson, The Secret Circles executive producer who recently told fans – “if you like The Vampire Diaries, this is a show you will enjoy just as well, [but] they’re…

‘Smallville’ executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders are standing by their decision to stay true to their “No Tights, No Flight” philosophy during the May 13, 2011 series finale, The Hollywood Reporter is confirming. The two continue to maintain that the hit CW sci-fi drama, which chronicled Clark Kent’s life before he became Superman for 10 seasons, wasn’t about showing lead actor Tom Welling in the full famous Superman suit. Souders told The Hollywood Reporter that she and Peterson are happy that ‘Smallville’ fans are still debating whether or not Welling wore the entire suit once Clark became Superman. The final episode featured the actor in the top-half of…
