Stephen Colbert is one of the comedians who have blurred the lines between politics, hard news, and comedy. He keeps it up by using his “Difference Maker” segment to highlight a Philadelphia man named Patrick Rodgers who sued Wells Fargo and won. However, he also points out that the man is a vampire. In the segment, Colbert is outraged at CNN anchor Don Lemon’s apparent calmness toward his interview subject’s long pointy teeth, and then bombards Lemon at his studio to complain about his “lack” of journalistic integrity to find out the truth about Rodgers. Stephen Colbert to Get NASA Nod

TV star and funnyman Stephen Colbert is trying to expand his celebrity on an intergalactic level by asking his fans to write in his name for an online NASA election that will name a new room in the international space station. Voters are given the option to name the room one of four things: Earthrise, Legacy, Serenity and Venture as the poll says the name “should reflect the spirit of exploration and cooperation embodied by the space station.” These options don’t include write-in responses. Colbert, who felt his name applies to the situation, could gain enough votes to win, but NASA could overrule the decision since its voting rules state…

Actress Tina Fey was voted AP’s Entertainer of the Year, an annual honor chosen by newspaper editors and broadcast producers across the country. The 38-year-old comedian beat out actors Robert Downey Jr. and the late Heath Ledger for the top honor. Sharon Eberson, entertainment editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, said, “Tina Fey is such an obvious choice.
