Milla Jovovich has signed onto “Stone” alongside Robert De Niro and Edward Norton, which will be directed by John Curran from an Angus MacLachlan screenplay. The film is being produced by Mimran Schur Pictures. Jordan Schur, Holly Wiersma, and David Mimran are producing, with Nu Image/Millennium’s Danny Dimbort, Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, and Rene Besson on as executive producers. Jovovich will play the wife of a convicted arsonist, played by Norton. She engages in a secret affair with his parole officer, played by De Niro, entrapping him in a series of deadly mental games in an effort to get Norton paroled. Robert De Niro and Edward Norton have been attached to star in the indie thriller “Stone.” The film will be helmed by John Curran, written by Angus MacLachlan and produced by Holly Wiersma, David Mimran, and Jordan Schur, the latter two from Mimran Shur Picturess who will be overseeing the film’s production. Avi Lerner, Renee Besson, Danny Dimbort and Trevor Short are executive producing. The story of “Stone” follows a correctional officer (Robert De Niro) who is seduced by the wife of a convicted arsonist (Edward Norton), who is up for parole.
