Children of Ex-Survivor Producer Not Allowed at Mother's Funeral

The children of Bruce Redman, an ex-’Survivor’ producer, will not be allowed to attend the memorial service for their mother Monica Beresford-Redman, PEOPLE is reporting.  The children’s therapist told a Los Angeles judge on May 28 that they aren’t emotionally ready to attend the service, and the judge agreed. Beresford-Redman was found dead in Mexico while she was vacationing there with her husband.  Redman has since been a “person of interest” in the case.  Their children, Camila, 5, and Alec, 3, are temporarily living with Redman’s parents, but he has filed court papers, asking for custody again.  Beresford’s sister, Carla Ferreira-Burgos, is also seeking custody. Ethan Zohn Cancer in Remission

Weeks after the news that Michael C. Hall’s Hodgkin’s Lymphoma was in remission, another television personality has announced the same thing.  ‘Survivor: Africa’ winner Ethan Zohn’s cancer is also now in remission, PEOPLE is reporting. Zohn’s girlfriend, Jenna Morasca, the winner of ‘Survivor: Amazon,’ told PEOPLE that a year after finding out he had CD20-positive Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a rare form of the cancer, his CT scan in April came up clear.  Zohn underwent chemotherapy after his doctor first found the cancer, but it came back in August. Now that the cancer is in remission, Zohn said he will appear on the new show ‘Outside Today’ for the Outside Television network. …

After outlasting his competition 39 days, 22-year-old flight attendant Todd Herzog has been chosen as the official Survivor China winner and the winner of the $1 million dollar prize. Todd tells E!, “I knew that the second that I got out there that, no matter what it took, I would do everything that I possibly could to be sitting right here. I had all of these people in my mind that could help me get here, and I can’t believe it worked.” Season 16 of survivor aires Feb. 7 on CBS.
