The only thing that seemed to be missing from the 2010 summer blockbuster hit, “The Expendables”, was 90s action star, Jean-Claude Van Damme. Why wasn’t “the muscles from Brussels” in a movie full of action superstars from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. It seemed to be a huge glaring mistake in casting. Well, screenwriter Sheldon Lettich (“Bloodsport” and “Rambo III”) and long time friend of Van Damme told JCVD fan site, VanDammeFan.net, that the star of “Timecop” will be indeed cast in the sequel, “The Expendables 2″. Well, there’s no denying it; I was way off this week. Just two of the five new wide release films cracked the top 10 and neither of which are the ones I’d have picked to do so. Still, no new entry stood a chance against The Expendables, which secured the #1 spot for the second week in a row with $16.5 million.
