Filmmaker McG, who directed the upcoming fourth Terminator installment, Terminator Salvation, is working with Halcyon on a fifth film. There was no mention where the fifth film was to be shot, although the Middle East was mentioned as a filming possibility. When Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek, the heads of Halcyon, acquired the rights the Terminator franchise last year, they said that they imagined the re-booted series as a trilogy.
