Steve Carell To Star In Brigadier Gerard
Friday, October 17th, 2008“The Office” and “The 40-Year Old Virgin” star Steve Carell has been attached to star in “The Adventures of Brigadier Gerard”, a comedy based on storied by Sherlock Holmes creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The title character of the Napoleonic Wars-era film, played by Carell, is both the bravest and the dumbest soldier in Napoleon Bonaparte’s army and follows his from his rise to power to his permanent island exile on St. Helena’s, where Napoleon died in 1821.
