Interview: Black Veil Brides frontman talks Warped, Image and even The Crow reboot

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

“We don’t hide what we are.” That statement makes perfect sense to those familiar with Black Veil Brides. Yet lead singer Andy Biersack still finds himself uttering those words every now and then. Only because he is at times prodded to address their over-the-top look in various interviews. The topic came up in our chat as I alluded to all the negative comments plastered on message boards when preparing to speak with the 20 year-old who created the more-or-less theatrical rock-n-metal band six years ago. They also have their fair share of supporters as well… “We sort of stick out like a sore thumb in most situations when it comes…

Last week, it was reported that Fresnadillo, who has also directed “28 Days Week Later”, had been signed on as the director of the…

Wednesday, November 24th, 2010

‘The Crow’ remake suffered another blow when Mark Wahlberg confirmed he won’t be portraying the lead role of Eric Draven. The news comes after director Stephen Norrington also declined to move forward with the project. Also, the comic book community has not embraced the proposed film as much as the 1994 original. The Academy Award-nominated actor, who’s generating more Oscar buzz for his upcoming film ‘The Fighter,’ told Cinematical.com that “They talked to me about it and there was a director attached who I was a fan of, and he’s no longer doing it. We just thought about-’is there something cool to be done there?’ But we’re not committed to…
