What was once a rumor is coming closer and closer to confirmation as the press tour for filmmaker David Fincher’s latest film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, approaches in December. A source close to Fincher, Producer Bill Mechanic, says that the rumor Fincher is adapting graphic novel series Torso for the big screen is more or less confirmed. Mechanic says, “If everything goes according to schedule, it would be the next thing up.” Torso is a graphic novel series that tells the story of the “torso” murders that took place in Cleveland in the 1930′s.
