The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the cable channel AMC has acquired the rights to the Image Comics series “The Walking Dead” for turning the zombie comic into a TV series. Frank Darabont has been attached to write and direct as well as be an executive producer for “The Walking Dead”, which he has been developing before AMC picked it up.
