Warner Bros. has announced release dates for a slew of upcoming projects, including the highly-anticipated big screen adaptation of DC Comics’ “Green Lantern”, which will hit theaters December 17th, 2010. The story will follow test pilot Hal Jordan, who is selected by the alien Green Lantern Corps to become one of them after the death of one of their greatest members, Abin Sur. “Casino Royale” director Martin Campbell is reportedly negotiating with Warner Bros to officially be tapped as the director of “Green Lantern”, a live-action adaptation of DC Comics’ emerald-green ring-slinging space cop character.
