Variety is reporting that director Tony Scott has picked up his latest project. Scott will helm the 20th Century drug thriller ‘Narco Sub’. The final discussions reportedly took place over the Thanksgiving weekend. The upcoming flick will follow the inner workings of a drug cartel and their use of submersible crafts to smuggle drugs into the United States, per Hey You Guys. Other than that not much else has been revealed in terms of plot details. Officials at 20th Century Fox have rejected a proposed script from ‘State of Play’ screenwriter Billy Ray, Comingsoon.net is reporting. But Howard Gordon, who executive produced the television series and is expected to return for the big screen version, reassured Entertainment Weekly (EW) that “There is talk about re-approaching it.
