Just coming off a huge $66 million opening weekend, “Thor” star Chris Hemsworth is in talks to join Kristen Stewart (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1) in Universal’s “Snow White and The Huntsman”. The angle of this rendition of “Snow White” will emphasize the Huntsman in the famous story by The Brothers Grimm. The Huntsman is Snow White’s protector. Chris Hemsworth would be playing the Huntsman, which had its flirtations with other strong leading males like Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman and Joel Edgerton. If Hemsworth could play it like he played Thor, with a large and bruiting screen presence, then I can see no reason why…

Ron Howard is developing these projects and is looking to direct, at least, the first movie in the series. On the TV production side, it looks like most likely, the TV series will head to NBC (or its cable network) since it’s part of Universal. My guess would be NBC, I…

Director Ron Howard has agreed to remove all jokes referencing the word gay from the trailers for his new comedy, ‘The Dilemma,’ Slashfilm.com is reporting. This comes after critics, including Anderson Cooper and GLAAD, publicly raised their criticisms of the use of the word as an openly accepted pejorative in the movie’s trailers and advertising.
