Superhero Hype is reporting that Timur Bekmabetov has confirmed that the tentatively-titled “Wanted 2″ is in the works, a follow-up to last summer’s adaptation of “Wanted”, the cult comic book by Mark Millar. Bekmabetov told “RIA Novosti”, a Russian news site, that “In July we will start preparation for the film. I think in the late autumn or winter shooting will be performed. Comic book writer Mark Millar (“Wanted”, “The Ultimates”) is speaking out about the decision to have screenwriter Evan Spiliotopoulos attached to Universal’s “Wanted 2″, which will be based on a story by Chris Morgan.
