HBO has confirmed after several months of speculation that it will air Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s new comedy series ‘Life’s Too Short’ in 2012, Deadline is reporting. The seven-episode series, which was co-created by ‘The Office’ star and Stephen Merchant, will first debut on BBC Two in late 2011. Much like ‘The Office’ and ‘Extras,’ which Gervais co-created with Merchant, ‘Life’s Too Short’ will be a faux documentary. It will feature 3 ft. 6 in. actor Warwick Davis, most remembered for his title role in the Leprechaun movies, as he tries to make his way back into the spotlight.
