One of the defining moments of the Cold War was President Kennedy’s “Ich Bin Ein Berliner” speech, which he gave in support of West Germany after Communist East Germany erected the Berlin Wall to stop movement between the two parts. Incredibly, one Pan Am stewardess remembers the speech well–she was in Germany when Kennedy gave it. In the clip the band talks about the meaning behind their latest single: “To me it was about the band moving over to the States,” says vocalist Shimon Moore.
