Television veteran William Shatner has been picked to star as a real-life angry father in a new CBS sitcom. The Hollywood Reporter announced on February 20 that the untitled show is based on Justin Halpern’s wildly popular Twitter page ‘S**t My Dad Says.’ Halpern’s 74-year-old father became famous for his uncensored rants, which Halpern posted on his Twitter page. The sitcom will be written by Halpern and his long-time writing partner Patrick Schumacker. The Weinstein Company, according to a report from Slashfilm, has apparently decided to again push back the release date of the beleaguered Star Wars fan movie, “Fanboys”, to February 6th, 2009.
